Online resource - Search the Nambour Chronicle
The Nambour Chronicle was the local newspaper for the Sunshine Coast from 1903 until 1980, when it was superseded by the Sunshine Coast Daily.
It no longer exists in hard copy, but its microfilm version is a valuable research tool for the region.
Now, you can search it online, following the completion of Stage 4 of a joint project between Caloundra City Libraries and Maroochy Libraries in partnership with the Queensland State Library.
The project, which commenced in 2005 and been supported by the Sunshine Coast Daily, has seen the conversion of the microfilm copy into digital form to ensure wider access and lifelong preservation. Search the Nambour Chronicle >
