About Country and Coastal Certifiers

Statutory building and plumbing services are provided by Country and Coastal Certifiers, one of Council’s business units.

In addition to statutory services, this unit offers other services such as project administration and building approvals and inspections both in and outside the Caloundra City area.

Permits are required before a start is made on any building work on your property including: renovations, alterations or additions, and before the erection of retaining walls, carports and swimming pools.

For all buildings other than single-dwelling homes, town planning requirements are applicable, and inquiries should be directed to Council on (07) 5420 8200.
